"Fantastic location and hotel atmosphere. The best Service and attendance were outstanding. My only disappointment was the shower area in the room was too narrow for a grown man to have good Shower and relax after a long country walk. "

"Second receptionist warmer than 1st. Maybe the offer of calling us when the room was ready instead of asking us to call to see if the room was ready would have been more efficient/going the extra mile. Food was lovely, lovely village location. Shame the sewage works was going on whilst we visited but not hotels fault. Don’t agree with the service charge automatically being put on the food bill, food was lovely but not cheap and then 10% charge on top for serving two people. To be fair...

"Had an excellent 2 night break. No delays or issues checking in, friendly greeting, everything was explained. Room was clean, tidy and bigger than expected. We ate in the restaurant in the evening - food was delicious, great service made it a lovely relaxing experience. Breakfast the next day was good, no shortage of choice and freshly cooked buffet and continental food. One issue - one of 2 coffee machines was broken (these things happen), the other on a go slow, so there were queues which...
